Yesterday was a big day! Simon's 2nd birthday. We started out the day by getting his new tricycle set up in the living room so he could see it when he woke up. The funny thing is that he didn't see it at first. I had to show him his birthday suprise. He loved it!! He has been riding it around the house and we even took it to the park today. It is really nice because he can ride on it while I push and steer.
After breakfast we spent the rest of the morning at the zoo. He got to see the monkeys and pet the goats and sheep. Amd he played at the spash pad. He had a blast. He kept telling me he wanted to go see the "babooooon". He loved the monkeys so much we got him one at the gift shop and he has been sleeping with it since. 
Last night we had a birthday party and Marie, Aimee, Jesse, Karissa, Cabrena, Veronica, Everett and Keaton came. Simon loved the cake, he tore his piece apart to eat the pudding in the middle. mmmmm.
